About
Before NSB Contracting had a name, Nico was already doing the work — roofing crews, high-rise construction, waterproofing, demolition. Years spent learning trades from the ground up, on real buildings, under people who didn't hand out shortcuts. That's where the standard for this company comes from.
The name
NSB carries two meanings, and both are true at the same time. The first is personal: Nico Success Bahati — a name that carries expectation in it, a reminder of where Nico comes from and what he's building toward. "Bahati" means fortune, or luck — but the way Nico sees it, luck is what happens when preparation and hard work finally catch a break. He doesn't take that lightly.
The standard
The second meaning is the standard Nico holds every job to: Never Stay Basic. It's not about doing more than asked for the sake of it — it's about refusing to settle for the minimum when a project deserves better. A patch job that will fail in two years isn't worth doing. A quote that hides the real cost isn't worth giving. "Built Beyond Basic" is that same idea, pointed at the work itself.
How NSB works
NSB Contracting is Nico — not a call center, not a rotating crew of subcontractors managed by someone who's never seen your property.
Nico shows up, does the work properly, and finishes what he starts — no half-done jobs left for someone else to fix.
Straight answers about what a project actually needs, even when that's not the answer someone wanted to hear.
Years across roofing, construction, waterproofing, and demolition mean fewer surprises and better solutions when something unexpected turns up.
Pricing that reflects the actual work and materials — not padded, not a lowball that gets renegotiated halfway through.
Work that's still standing up years later is the only kind of work worth putting the NSB name on.
Most of NSB's work comes from people who were treated well the first time and called back for the next project.
Part of something bigger
NSB Contracting is partnered with Spartan Services as part of the Spartan Collective — a group of businesses built on the same standards of work ethic and integrity. This relationship is still growing, and we'll share more here as it develops.
Let's talk through it — no pressure, no pushy sales pitch.
